15. Payment Process
All prices for services offered by Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services will be communicated upfront. Full payment is required before work commences unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect orders already paid for.
16. Emails
By providing an email address, you authorise us to communicate with you via email. You acknowledge that email hosts use cloud technology and may have international servers, meaning your data could be transmitted overseas. Adrienna's Resume Writing Services is not liable for any loss resulting from email correspondence, including human error or email interception.
17. Service Process
Once payment is made, your resume writer will contact you to discuss with you all your requirements and gather all the information needed. You will receive your new professional resume and cover letter within 1-2 business days from the date of payment. During very busy periods, turnaround times will vary, and we will notify you on the exact timeline that we will deliver. Therefore, if there is an urgent submission request, we will attempt to meet deadlines but cannot guarantee this. We are not to be held responsible if you miss an application cut off. Please note that for our Express Service, we guarantee the delivery of your documents within 24 hours.
18. File Formats and Technical Compatibility
When Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services sends you your documents, they will be provided in PDF and the latest Microsoft Word formats. While we aim to make these files easy to use, we can’t be held responsible if they don’t work perfectly with your particular computer setup. We’ll do our best to help fix any problems and can offer alternative file types if possible. However, IT support isn’t something we specialise in, so if we can’t find a solution together, you’ll need to get professional IT help at your own cost. Please note that we don’t create editable documents in Apple Pages, Google Docs, or any formats other than Microsoft Word.
19. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Our guarantee means we will make unlimited updates / revisions to your documents up to four weeks from the date of delivery. It does not mean a refund will be provided if you are not satisfied with the final product. It simply means that we will make unlimited updates / revisions to your resume up to four weeks of receiving the documents. We strictly have a no-refund policy.
20. Resume Updates
If updates are needed within the four-week period, please call or email your resume writer to make your requests. Note that updates can take up to 1-2 business days. Additional roles to positions that were not discussed initially after document finalisation are considered new services, incurring extra fees.
21. Selection Criteria
For selection criteria responses, we use the STAR or SAO method and require you to provide a real-life situation for each criterion. Only one situation per criterion is used to ensure adherence to the STAR and SAO methods. After receiving your documents, changes to the examples provided are not accepted.
22. Job Seekers
We are committed to supporting you in your job search by providing guidance, resources, and access to available opportunities where possible. Please note that our job placement assistance is offered as a complimentary (free) service and is not part of any paid resume writing or career support package.
However, participation in this service does not guarantee job placement. Assistance is based on the availability of roles that align with your qualifications, experience, and career interests. While we will make reasonable efforts to connect you with suitable opportunities, employment outcomes depend on a range of factors outside our control, including market conditions, employer selection criteria, and your own application and interview performance.
We encourage you to continue your own proactive job search while using our services, as successful placement is a shared responsibility.
23. Limitations of Liability
The client acknowledges and agrees that the job search process, including all outcomes achieved, is ultimately the sole responsibility of the client. While Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services provides professional documentation and support, job search success is influenced by numerous external factors beyond our control. These may include changing market conditions, shifts within the industry, job availability, salary expectations, and the client’s individual interview performance and preparedness.
As such, Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services makes no guarantees regarding the outcome of any job application submitted using documents we prepare. The effectiveness of our services will vary depending on the specific circumstances of each client, and we cannot be held responsible for unsuccessful applications or unmet job search expectations.
24. Unacceptable Behaviour and Service Termination
Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services expects all interactions with our writers and staff to be respectful and professional. Aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour towards our team will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If such behaviour occurs, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your services immediately. Depending on the amount of work already completed, you may receive a partial refund or no refund at all. Our priority is to maintain a safe and positive working environment for our team while continuing to provide quality services.
25. Deadline and Refund Policy
We offer a full refund for change-of-mind cancellations, provided the request is made before the initial consultation with your assigned writer has taken place.
If a refund is requested after consultation but before any documents have been produced, a partial refund may be issued to account for the time and work already undertaken by the writer. As a guide, a minimum of $50 will be retained for consultations of up to one hour. For consultations exceeding one hour, an additional $50 per hour (pro rata) will be withheld to reflect the time invested.
Once your documents have been delivered to you, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we stand by our 100% satisfaction guarantee and will continue to revise your documents until you are fully satisfied with the final result, within the agreed revision period.
Please note that refunds will not be provided under any circumstances for missed deadlines. Turnaround times may vary depending on the complexity of your request and your responsiveness. While we aim to provide your documents within one to two (1-2) business days of your consultation, we strongly recommend beginning your project at least five (5) business days before your application deadline to allow time for customisation and revisions.
26. Intellectual Property
All materials and documents prepared by Adrienna’s Resume Writing Services remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, ownership of final deliverables transfers to you for your personal use. You agree not to copy, share, or sell our original templates or materials without our permission. While you own the finished documents, the designs and processes we use remain our confidential property. If you want to use our materials beyond what’s agreed, please get in touch with us first.
27. Disclaimer
